Movie follows Satyabhama Anand (Alia Bhatt), who is fiercely protective of her younger brother, Ankur Anand (Vedang Raina). Ankur, along with his cousin, travels to Hansi Dao, Malaysia, for studies but is wrongfully sentenced to death for drug possession.
